About Phil

Phil has worked in the entertainment and events industry for over twenty years on a variety of productions, with a diverse career working across a range of venues including small studio theatres, large A1 theatres, arenas, creating site specific pieces, outdoor events and parades.  

 

Over the past ten years Phil has mainly worked as a Production or Technical Manager with experience in working on installations and immersive pieces in unusual spaces. Production Management credits include working with Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot, The Bush Theatre in London, Hull Truck Theatre, Everyman & Playhouse in Liverpool, Contact Theatre in Manchester, Black Pride Manchester, LGBT History Month, Nimax Theatres, Emma Brunjess Productions, Gag Reflex Ltd, Bound & Gagged Comedy, Millerman Productions, Darren Pritchard Dance, Trans Creative, Manchester Metropolitan University and Walk the Plank

 

Phil has worked as Technical Manager for numerous festivals include Fuse Festival and Black Gold Arts Festival a Manchester based festival showcasing Black Artists and as a mentor for The Pleasance during the Edinburgh festival.  


Out door work has included firework displays, parades, fire gardens and installations. Whilst with Walk The Plank Phil managing their flagship events of 'Body', 'Winter Light', 'Thank You Manchester Weekender' and  'Manchester Day'


Phil is highly experienced in producing paperwork covering event management plans, health and safety, compliance, scheduling, budgets and CAD plans. Over the last few year has worked on complex events and created risk assessments and event plans to manage to risk created by COVID-19


Phil has also created lighting and sound designs for shows which have toured across the UK and internationally. Phil has become involved in the production of online content including filmed versions of shows, live streamed productions and Zoom based shows.

Live Attitude are entertainment specialists based in North-West of England with years of experience in theatre, touring, corporate events, installations and outdoor events. The company was set up by Phil Buckley with the aim to provide high quality production values tailor made for our clients.


We provide a variety of production services with various levels of production support from ad-hoc consultation to full production management. We believe in taking the time to truly understand our clients and their needs to create a package just right for them. We believe all of our clients are important and become invested in the projects we work on. From the the first meeting or site visit to post event debriefs our staff are professional and enthusiastic.
